Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Stance, operated by Tony Nguyen as a sole proprietor (“Stance,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the Stance mobile application (the “App”) and the website getstance.app (the “Site”). We built Stance to be private by design: your posture photos are analyzed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

The short version. No account is required. Your photos never leave your phone — the posture scan runs on-device using Apple’s Vision framework, and we never receive, see, or store your images. Your scan results are stored locally on your device. We don’t sell your data and we don’t track you across other apps or websites.

1. Information we do not collect

Your photos and images. Photos you scan are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. We never receive them.
Biometric identifiers. The on-device analysis estimates posture angles from body landmarks for a wellness score. We do not create a faceprint or biometric identifier, and we do not use the analysis to identify you.
Account/contact info. The App does not require you to create an account or give us your name, email, or phone number to use it.

2. Information stored on your device

Your scan history, posture scores, routine progress, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device. You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Reset all data in the App, or by deleting the App.

3. Information processed by service providers

Subscriptions (RevenueCat & Apple)

If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is handled by Apple through the App Store; we never receive your payment card details. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage subscriptions and entitlements. RevenueCat processes a random app-installation identifier and purchase/transaction information (such as product purchased, price, and subscription status) and limited device/diagnostic data on our behalf. Website & waitlist

The Site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard server logs (e.g., IP address, user agent) to deliver and secure the Site. If you submit your email to our waitlist, we store that email solely to notify you about the launch; we don’t sell it or use it for unrelated marketing. You can ask us to delete it anytime at labubuvrbusiness@gmail.com.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, they are scheduled as local notifications on your device. We do not run a push server and do not receive notification data.

5. No tracking / no IDFA

We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and the App does not request the App Tracking Transparency permission or use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

6. Children

Stance is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App asks you to confirm you meet the minimum age before scanning. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA & others)

Because the scan path collects no personal data and requires no account, in most cases we hold little or no personal information about you. Where applicable law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of your personal information — and to not be discriminated against for exercising them — you may exercise these rights by emailing labubuvrbusiness@gmail.com. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. For data held by Apple or RevenueCat, please also refer to their policies.

8. Data retention & security

On-device data persists until you delete it or remove the App. Waitlist emails are retained until launch or until you ask us to delete them. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

9. International users

Our service providers may process limited data (e.g., subscription status, server logs) in the United States and other countries. By using the App or Site you understand that such processing may occur, subject to appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, in-app notice.
